My stay at Metropark Lido Hotel Beijing was a mixed experience. The location was excellent and provided easy access to local attractions, while the gym and pool facilities were a nice touch. However, I encountered persistent issues with the cleanliness of my room, which dampened my overall enjoyment.

Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in had a lingering smell of smoke, which was disappointing given that the hotel claims to be smoke-free. Although the room was large and spacious, it felt outdated and I noticed signs of wear and tear.
Service
7.0
The staff were generally courteous and responsive to my requests, although their English skills were quite basic, which sometimes made communication difficult.
Location
8.0
The hotel is ideally situated in downtown Beijing with many restaurants and shops nearby. However, I found it a bit challenging to navigate public transport due to the distance from the nearest metro station.
Dining
5.0
While there were plenty of dining options, the restaurant service was lacking. The food was mediocre, and I was disappointed by how early the restaurant closed, which caught me off guard.
Facilities
8.0
The gym and swimming pool facilities were great and mostly empty, making it a nice place to unwind after a busy day. However, the overall ambiance felt dated.

7.2/10

I recently stayed at the Metropark Lido Hotel in Beijing and had a mixed experience. While I found the bed comfortable and enjoyed the pleasant staff, the overall quality of the hotel has clearly declined over the years. The rooms are worn out, and certain amenities, like the Wi-Fi and heating, were disappointing. I wouldn't choose this hotel again unless I found a very good rate. 😕

Rooms
5.0
The room was rugged and felt quite outdated, with a filthy carpet. The heating system was strange, making the room too warm even when turned off, but I did appreciate the cleanliness of the bathroom.
Service
5.0
The check-in process was unprofessional and slow, and I felt that the staff could use more training, especially regarding their English skills. However, they were kind and tried to be helpful.
Location
5.0
The hotel is not the easiest to access, as many taxi drivers seem unfamiliar with it. It took quite a while to find transport in the mornings due to heavy traffic.
Dining
5.0
The food at the restaurant was decent, but the service left a lot to be desired. I found other options in the neighboring shopping mall that were more appealing.
Facilities
6.0
While the hotel has several facilities like a gym and a spa area with a jacuzzi, these don't quite make up for the hotel's overall shortcomings.

My stay at Metropark Lido Hotel was quite mixed. The amenities were decent and the rooms were spacious, but overall, the experience left a lot to be desired. The staff's service was hit-or-miss, and I definitely had some issues that diminished my trip. Despite some positives, I wouldn't rush back.

Rooms
5.0
The room was spacious and had basic functions covered. However, it smelled a bit smoky, which was disappointing for a no-smoking floor.
Service
5.0
I found the service to be lacking. some staff were courteous, but others had poor communication skills and there was a noticeable coldness during check-in.
Location
6.0
It's in a relatively good area, close to some nice restaurants and shops. But getting a taxi there can be confusing for drivers, leading to some inconvenience.
Dining
6.0
The dining options were decent, with several restaurants available, though the buffet could have offered more variety. I enjoyed some of the Western breakfast dishes.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities like the gym and pool were nice, but air conditioning issues in my room detracted from the overall experience. A bit of renovation could really enhance the stay.

I had a comfortable stay at Metropark Lido Hotel Beijing with large, cozy rooms, but the slow WiFi and language barrier were a bit of a hassle. It’s well-placed for exploring the area even though it's not right in the city center. Overall, the value for the price was pretty good, but some updates would be nice.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were spacious and comfortable, though a bit dated, especially the bathrooms. Water pressure was excellent, which I really appreciated.
Service
6.0
Service was decent, but I faced some issues communicating with staff who struggled with English. I also found it tough to get a taxi.
Location
7.0
The hotel is located in the northeast of Beijing, making it easy to access the airport and some cool spots nearby, like bars and restaurants. However, the distance to the subway station was a bit inconvenient.
Dining
8.0
The breakfast buffet had a nice variety, which I enjoyed, but some items could have been fresher. I liked that there was a Starbucks right at the hotel.
Facilities
7.0
The amenities were good, including a small pool, sauna, and steam room, but the separate saunas for men and women were a downer for me. Also, I had to find my own swimming caps.

My stay at the Metropark Lido Hotel in Beijing was a mixed bag. While the room was spacious and the staff were genuinely friendly, the hotel itself felt outdated, and I faced some issues with the internet. The restaurant experience was pretty disappointing too, especially with the limited hours and food quality.

Rooms
6.0
The room was large and the bed was comfortable, but it definitely felt like it needed a refresh. Furnishings were quite dated, with some areas showing clear wear and tear.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and helpful overall, but communication could be hit-or-miss due to limited English skills. They really seemed to care about the guests, which I appreciated.
Location
6.0
The hotel is somewhat isolated from main tourist spots, with a bit of a walk to the metro. However, it was in a quiet area and there were local shops nearby.
Dining
5.0
Dining was a letdown. The restaurant operation was confusing, and the food quality didn't meet expectations. Plus, their advertised hours weren't accurate.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were basic and not very modern, but they offered some essential services like room service and housekeeping.
